Residential Treatment Tech

Assumption, Illinois, United States | Residential Services | Full-time

Starting Pay: $19.60/hr with scheduled raises based on performance! Additional rates for AA ($20.60/hr) and Bachelor’s degrees ($21.60/hr).

Sign-On Bonus: $500 for new hires if referred by current KV staff (paid after 6 months of full-time employment).

Shift Openings: Second (1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and Third (11:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.) with shift differentials: $1/hr Mon-Thu and $2/hr Fri-Sun for 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

As a Residential Treatment Technician, you will support the physical and emotional well-being of residents, help them build positive life skills, and provide transportation and supervision for daily activities. Your role is vital in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Minimum age of 21

• Valid Illinois Driver’s License

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

• Preferred: Experience working with youth and familiarity with mental health needs

Requirements:

Physical Requirements: ability to sit, stand, wak, lift (5-20lbs), and climb stairs as required. May involve exposure to various noise levels and outdoor temperatures.
Mental Requirments: General intelligence, effective verbal skills, and ability to perform basic arithmetic. Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet.
Work Conditions: may require occasional double shifts
